Almost everyone was on the same page today. Japan's central bank surprised by dropping rates into negative territory -- a clear attack on deflation.
Asian markets responded accordingly and moved higher. Shanghai finally put a plus in the win column, up 3%. European exchanges were up about 2% on the day.
Oil is higher (over $33) and stocks built on their bounce momentum. Coming into the close, the Dow is up a very healthy 300+ points, led by tech and industrial companies.
Yet almost all sectors are strong. Gold is up a few bucks, and the mining shares added 3%. Thus, almost everyone goes into the weekend a winner.
