I've been reading two books by a very brilliant analyst, James Rickards. The two books, which I recommend to everybody, are Currency Wars and the later book, The Death of Money. As I write, 45 minutes before the close, the Dow is up 95 and happily above 18,000 again. The Transports are up 68 and the Nasdaq is up 18 and within points of the important 5000 level. At the same time gold is up 13.60 and safely above 1200 to 1207.10. Silver, which is outperforming gold, is up .29 to 16.47.
