“I am always safe, and I’m never alone.”
Above is my new mantra. I was an atheist and then an agnostic, until I realized that I had thwarted death so many times that it must be beyond coincidence. I realized that God, for some reason, had kept me safe through diseases, through the Great Depression, and through World War II. So I have always been safe.
As for never being alone, I finally realized that God is with me, even inside me, and thus I am never alone. I believe the world is increasingly following the spiritual path. Therefore, I am increasingly optimistic as the future of the human race.
I have long pondered the meaning of the holocaust and WWII. The Holocaust cost the lives of over nine million people, and WWII caused the military and civilian deaths of 60 million people.
