Train En Route to Daegu, South Korea
I am hurtling along on a fast KTX train from Seoul to Daegu and it's nearly midnight. I spent an extended weekend in Hong Kong in business meetings and then one day in Seoul, where I did another public talk on “New Forms of Leadership” and had a fascinating conversation with a friend – who happens to be the daughter of a former Prime Minister of Korea – who is trying to promote spirituality and contemplation. She agrees that there is a real dialogue gap between the generations here. I suspect its not just Korea.
This is going to be a very shortened note this week given the harsh travel schedule. Market technicals still point up but comments from the IMF this week were disturbing, as is data out of the US.
