I’m going to try to make this simple. The US economy is not out of recession. This despite the propaganda produced by the Fed and the US government. The Fed is frantic because all its money creation has not lifted the economy nor has it helped the middle class and poverty stricken Americans. The result will be that the Fed will put off raising rates as long as they can.
It’s obvious that the Fed is aware of the weak US economy. The Fed’s reaction to this still choppy or bearish economy might even be to bring in QE4. My thought is that the Fed will do everything short of dropping money from helicopters to jumpstart the US economy.
Meanwhile, the world finds itself in a full-fledged currency war. Every nation wants a cheap and competitive currency. Money from around the world has been pouring into the “safe” US dollar; ... Log in or subscribe to continue reading.
