The latest big money shocker: In New York City, a recently built condominium at 432 Park Avenue is now the tallest residential building in the Western hemisphere. It has 104 condos, which altogether will be priced at $3.1 billion. That works out to an average price of around $30 million. Thus prices for the most highly sought condos and apartments in New York City have reached the level of never-never land.
Today’s market is higher and an hour before the close it looks as though the Dow will set a new record high. Because I am bullish on the market I have added substantial quantities of two stocks to my portfolio. One stock is WR Berkley (WRB), an insurance company that acts like a mini-Berkshire Hathaway.
