The current issue of Fortune magazine features a major piece about Apple. Apple has now become an investment phenomenon. There is even a site dedicated solely to Apple; you can subscribe to it for $2400 a year. Apple is now the largest capitalization stock in the world.
A good many individual investors and funds have placed the majority to ALL their money in the stock of Apple. Estimates as to the future price of Apple are running as high as $1100. It is seldom that we see a single stock to match the importance of Apple. When Apple swings up or down as much as ten points in a day, it translates into hundreds of million of dollars changing hands.
