Don't laugh -- the bird flu is destroying the ostrich-farm business in Africa.
I've been working pretty hard, so I'm going back to what I promised myself and my subscribers, Tuesday and Thursday sites will be shorter.
I read the newspapers every day (boy, am I old-fashioned), and I'll swear, when I'm all finished with the New York Times and the WSJ and the Financial Times, I find it hard to figure out exactly what they were saying. It reminds me of something I heard from a very wise man:
"If a professional writer can't take a complicated subject and explain it simply, so everyone can understand it -- then you know that the writer doesn't know what the hell he's talking about."
