Just when I thought I had life beat, I slipped in the shower and broke my left hip (three years ago). It took me many months to learn to walk, but now I can sort of hobble along. But alas, arthritis set in on both hips. I'm seeing a remarkable lady chiropractor and pain specialist. She seems brilliant, and seems to be helping me. Her name is Dr. Rachel Richards, and she lives right here in La Jolla.
My other problem is that between practicing walking and writing these sites, I get dead tired each day. I'm told that thinking in itself can tire you out, so why don't I cool it on my thinking? You know, that's a good question, but I find that I'm very poor when it comes to resting. I lie down, and I immediately start thinking. Then I pick up a book, and I'm again doing too ...
