As subscribers know, in 2011 I had a full hip replacement. Recently it began to hurt a bit as I walked. Being a worrier, I started having frightening visions of needing another operation. I have a tendency of thinking the worst when it comes to my health, which is a very bad habit. I'm trying to break myself of that habit. Happily, after a few X-rays my surgeon said I was fine -- no operation, just keep stretching and walking.
Speaking of health, I recently contracted a yeast infection on my head. I hear this is very common. I visited a dermatologist and was given three prescriptions which were calculated to cure the yeast infection. The three proved worthless. Then I tried "Head and Shoulders," clinical strength (every large drug store carries it) and voila, it worked.
