With the S&P pushing into record territory, bulls are greedy and bears are fearful. This brings up the question -- what's the item that is least appreciated in investing? The answer is peace of mind. Look on the medication shelves of any drugstore. What you will find -- pills for anxiety, pills for sleeplessness, pills for indigestion, pills for pain. A psychiatrist friend of mine told me that all her patients complain of sleeplessness. Nobody these days seems to have peace of mind. This is particularly true among investors.
