Is it a bull market or is it a Fed manipulated correction? The market advance that started in March of 2009 is entering its sixth year. This will make it the second longest advance in the past 80 years. This alone is reason for caution. I'm thankful that I'm not managing money for others. The worst thing that can happen to an investor is to suffer a big loss of 50% or more. After suffering that kind of catastrophe, the odds are that one will never get back to even. I think that investors in today's market think that if the market reverses to the downside, they can get out with minimum losses. I'm not convinced.
