Life is different when you’re 90. I’m too weak to walk at the age of almost 91. But the problem is – what have I got to look forward to? When you’re young and you have a walking problem, you practice and think that once you resolve your walking problem, you’ll be back to normal again. But when you’re 91, there’s no getting back to normal. Normal at 91 means that everything is increasingly difficult.
Every age has a name in the vernacular. For instance, the 1920s are known as the Jazz Age. I call the current period the “anything goes” age. You don’t like your gender, then change it. They say 1% of Americans are transgender. When former athlete Bruce Jenner didn’t like being a man, he changed his looks and came out as Caitlyn Jenner. In changing his sex, he didn’t hurt anybody.
