I decided to kick off this series with a profile of Henry Salm, an old friend of Richard’s whom I have heard about since I was a child (but never met or talked to until now!), and a Dow Theory Letters reader from the very beginning. I knew that my father had worked with Hank in the textile industry in his pre-Dow Theory days. But I had no idea what a fascinating life and family history Hank has, or that he was foreign born, until we spoke at length for this profile. So here goes.
